Impact Project
Kamonwon’s project aims to bring cutting-edge Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training to five hospitals across northeastern Thailand and Laos, potentially revolutionizing emergency care in the region. For one-year, expert staff from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Khon Kaen University will conduct intensive one-day workshops, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice.
The training will target emergency medicine residents, doctors, and internists, equipping them with vital skills to enhance patient care. With a focus on both urban and rural healthcare facilities, this project has the potential to significantly improve diagnostic capabilities and treatment outcomes in areas where advanced medical resources may be limited.
